We traveled to Big Canoe in the North Georgia Mountains. The sun set at Lake Petit was beautiful, and the dram of the evening was the Irish Single Malt Whiskey Barr an Uisce 1803.
We visited the George Dickel distillery, which is one of the oldest Tennessee distilleries. They have a wonderful distillery tour, very nice gift shop, and you can sit outside and look at the beautiful setting of the distillery.
Wonderful surprise by our daughter. This bourbon donut with sea salt was really tasty. The sea salt added a great note to the glaze. Next time the donut will be paired with a bourbon.
Celebrating the 4th of July weekend on the deck and enjoying Jameson. Weather was helping to have a relaxing and fun family weekend.
Really interesting visit at Distillery 98 and toured the distillery. Made by-hand, in small batches, from locally sourced wild ingredients, and family-farmed crops. The purely crafted, and naturally infused liquors, carry the spirit of the Florida Panhandle.
Father and son started Rollins Distillery in 2011. After three years of research, they sent their first product to market in 2016. They have several types of rum available. We enjoyed the Rock n’ Rum, which uses the Golden Rum as a base but is then flavored with genuine rock candy.
Visiting restaurants and bars to explore international food and drinks is always a highlight of any journey. We visited Louis Louis in Santa Rosa Beach. The family owned restaurant offers excellent French/Belgium cuisine and ambience. The beverage selection for dinner was Laphroig 10.

Around the world we all share the same challenges. We stay at home and learn that our home is a wonderful place to experience and explore a new dram. Stay safe and healthy!
